Khosro Panjebashi Aghdam,
CEO of Memphis Collection

[Dear customer,]
My name is Khosro. Beside being a civil engineer, I was a pationate lover of nature and ornamental flowers. To pursue my real passion, I built a small greenhouse on the roof of my house, for which I received a great positive feedback. This encouraged me to combine my profession with my pation, and so I posted photoes of my works on my instagram page. The more I posted the photoes and marketed my works, the more I felt the need to use modern designs in my photoes. As the time went by, I managed to incorporate the magical combination of wood and plants into photoes and ads, which attracted the attention of a wide audience.
Motivated by all these happy events and some craftsmen’s unprofessional manner to make a late product delivery, I desiged and produced the wooden products by myself, which became a turning point in my career. My amazing wife, who was my greatest supporter all this time, helped me transform the 30-square-meter basement of my father-in-law’s house into a carpentry workshop. In the beginning, I sold different models of stand/vase bases and wooden decorative items using different sales methods (e.g., online and face-to-face sales methods). As my sales went up, I reconized the need to expand my business, find a bigger workshop, and hire more woodworkers. The only challenge I faced was the rampant inflation [reaching a monthly rate of 40%]. Throughout the day, I was surrounded by wholesale customers who were willing to wait for [weeks/months] to purchase our products.
All these experiences were wonderful.
Because I worked two jobs at once, I had to labor for several hourse from 7 am to 11 pm, and sometimes I was so tired I dragged myself to my bed upstaris. However, I did not compromise quality for quantity, and I declined large orders from my fellow carpenters when holidays approaching because they always sought to make more profits by selling more products, which goes against my sales policy. I had a different mindset : for me, producing new ideas and designs was more a matter of passion than a profession, and putting an idea into practice was more enjoyable than making profit from it. As an artist, I never sacrifice art for money and I always pay careful attention to details when working, such as when I select wood or do packaging. I hope you have enjoyed reading this short note, as much as you have purchasing our product.
Wishing you happy days ahead.
